The heated swimming pool measures 12 x 6 metres and is surrounded by terracing and flower beds. There is an additional paddling pool of 3 metres in diameter at one corner for children. New legislation in France has been introduced to ensure that swimming pools are a safe area, especially for children. The pool safety comprisesof four infra-red sensors which activate an alarm should the beam be broken.
